• Are you aware of what the "Manchester Minimum Safeguarding Standards" are?
• Are you up to date with your safeguarding?
• Do you work with children and / or vulnerable adults?
• Have you got the right safeguarding and child protection arrangements in place?
The Voluntary Sector Safeguarding Toolkit has been developed in partnership with Macc, MSCB and Manchester City Council in response to the safeguarding minimum standards.
Manchester Safeguarding Children Board (MSCB) and Manchester Safeguarding Adult Board (MSAB) expect all providers and commissioners of services for adults at risk and children in Manchester to adhere to this safeguarding standard.
The toolkit represents the minimum standards expected and acts as a tool to support organisations to meet these standards.
The toolkit works in two parts:
Part One – Self-Audit Tool
Part Two – Guidance Notes
If you require support with using the toolkit you can contact us on 0161 834 9823, or email: [email protected].
